Yes I have completely failed to write anything here in a looooooooooooong fucking time, but there you go life gets in the way.
I mean I could write about PHP's glorious week but seems a bit pointless as every man and his dog has had a say on that.
Instead I'll start writing about my running progress (or general lack of it). I did the Duxford Dash this morning, I entered the 10k but we were told that we could drop out to the 5k after the one lap if we wanted to, and after that headwind all the way out down the runway made it feel like you were running on the spot I decided that 5 was plenty, even though the wind at your back was quite enjoyable and I did set my fastest half mile ever (according to Strava) there, although to be fair that isn't really saying much.
I've got a marathon in 11 months and I really need to be dropping a hell of a lot of weight and getting some better times. For some reason (cake) i have been putting on a a few kilos the last few weeks and need to get back into better habits. Need to get my 5k time down below 30 minutes and preferably my 10k under an hour. Lets see how East Coast 10k goes next week, hopefully it won't be blowing a gale for that one, I mean Yarmouth seafront is bad enough as it is.
